Bachelor of Christian Ministry
The Bachelor of Christian Ministry degree has been designed especially for those persons who wish to prepare for bi-vocational ministry. The degree requires the fulfillment of the General Education requirements of the college which are:
Second, the completion of the following courses from the Associate of Ministry degree program:
Third, the completion of a 36 credit hour major in any one of the following areas:
- Three credit hours in English (College Writing)
- Nine credit hours in Science and Math (minimum of three credits in each)
- Three credit hours in Critical Thinking
- Three credit hours in Psychology
- Three credit hours in Sociology
- Six credit hours in American History
- Three credit hours in American Government
- Three credit hours in Leadership
- Six credit hours in Communication (three in Public Speaking)
Second, the completion of the following courses from the Associate of Ministry degree program:
- Principles of Biblical Interpretation
- Old Testament Survey
- New Testament Survey
- Pastoral Care
- Preaching
- Leading Worship
- Evangelism and Discipleship
- Introduction to Christian Philosophy
- Church History I
- Christian Theology
- Christian Ethics
- Gospels and Acts
- Organizational Behavior
- Church Planting
- Congregational Health and Growth.
Third, the completion of a 36 credit hour major in any one of the following areas:
- Business
- Criminal Justice
- Education
- Legal Studies
- Psychology
- Social Work
